Institute announces new Visiting Faculty member

The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (formerly Basstech) is delighted to announce that renowned bassist Janek Gwizdala has joined the teaching team as a visiting faculty member. Janek will be available for private lessons and provide guidance and support for students during their courses.
Janek Gwizdala is currently Musical Director and bass player for RCA recording artist JEM and bass player for Jazz Guitarist Mike Stern. English born New York resident Janek has been playing on the international music scene with some of the most respected musicians in the business. His performance, production, recording and touring credits include:
Mike Stern, Randy Brecker, Flora Purim, Hiram Bullock, Kenwood Dennard, Wayne Krantz, Eric Johnson, Ronny Jordan, Terri Lyne Carrington, Gary Husband, Arturo Sandoval, Danny Gottlieb, Peter Cincotti, Rick Margitza, Richie Morales, Scott Kinsey, Jeff Lorber, Jose Neto, Paul Oakenfold, Stevie Winwood, Buddy Williams, Adam Freeland, Randy Bernsen, and Dominique Di Piazza.
